Review
Process
Manuscripts
will be acknowledged by the editor upon receipt and coded for blind
review. The editors reserve the right to determine which section
of JPACTe is most appropriate
for the review and eventual publication of the submission; this
decision will be communicated to the principal author. Following
preliminary editorial review, articles will be sent to the appropriate
review committee. The review process normally takes 1 to 2
months. Authors should expect a reply from the editor(s) within
that time regarding the status of their manuscripts. Articles may
be edited. Possible outcomes of the review include 1) publication
without modification or revision, 2) return for minor revisions before
publication, 3) return for major revisions before resubmission for
review, and 4) rejection.
Review Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated according
to the criteria published in the JPACTe
rubrics for Research
and Theory and/or Voices from the Field.
