Dear Mr. Huntley,
                                                                                                                                      The_Northern_Adirondack_Central_School_District_will_work_closely_with
the_"Learner_Centered_Classroom/Standards_Focused_Initiative_under_the "Targeted_Instructional_Staff_Development"_Grant.

First_grade_teacher,_Marti_Martin_and_third_grade_teacher,_Carol_Lowery, two_(2)_of_our_most_experienced_professionals,_have_already_participated in_a_week_of_training_this_summer_at_St._Lawrence_University._We_will  provide_them_with_the_support_they_will_need_to_be_successful_in_creating learner_centered/standards_focused_classrooms.

As_a_"hi_needs"_school_district,_the_opportunities_afforded_under_this
initiative_are_a_worthwhile_supplement_to_the_district's_own_plans_for professional_development.
