The Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES is committed to continuing its role in the planning and implementation of the "Learner Centered .Classroom/Standards Focused Initiative" under the "Targeted Instructional Staff Development Grant".

Previously Stephen Shafer (my predecessor with BOCES) has participated in planning meetings, and I will succeed him in that role. Also, we will provide support to Brushton­Moira, one of the six participating PGP (Professional Growth Plan) schools and we will be seeking ways to replicate this model in our region.
