April: Application Process to select PGP teams, pilot teams; meeting with administrators to explain process.
June: Planning Sessions with Dona Cruickshank, Gerry and Jan Peters, Ron Hockmuth Marti Martin, Don Mesibov, Paul Vermette Jim Waterson to select PGP and pilot schools and to design year long professional development module, based on experiences under the first two years of the Targeted grant.
June: Planning sessions with Dr. Jim Frenck, Champlain Valley BOCES, to discuss process for replicating this model throughout Plattsburgh region.
Early August: Week long summer session for 50 project participants:
26 teachers, six parents, three administrators from six PGP teams
six pilot teachers from three schoolstwo staff developers, Jim Frenck, and six teachers from Champlain Valley Educational Services region.
Course priorities are selected by PGP and pilot teachers, administrators,
and parents (through Web Site self assessment process)
Late August: Two day sessions at the end of the summer for PGP teams
Aug/Sept: Individual sessions with building administrators
