There appears to he sufficient
feedback and data in the studies of the past two years to suggest that
there is a connection between the collaborative practices of general and
special education teachers, which impact the attitude and perfomance of
students with disabilities in a general classroom. It is the goal of the
Project Evaluator to study 1) how strategies and activities which result
from collaboration of the teachers involved is recorded and implemented
in classrooms 2) investigate when and how "collaboration" is addressed
as part of staff development either during faculty meetings and/or as part
of Staff Development days 3) determine how administrators, classroom teachers
are or are planning to assess the implementation of collaborative strategies
used by general and special education teachers in general classrooms.
